ISIS is constantly developing new solutions for the problems we encounter in the fast-evolving IT world. When we run into a problem that we don't have a "just-right" solution for, we develop one! One that specifically addresses the needs of the client using standards based methodologies that plain and simple just work.
We currently offer four such products which fill gaps we feel are present in the current marketplace.
The services listed below can be subscribed to and implemented either individually or in a combined suite called Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). (The BPOS offering is soon to be updated with the very latest Microsoft software and renamed to "Office 365".)
Exchange Online Services
Microsoft's online Exchange solution allows you to run your Exchange server(s) up on a robust Microsoft-hosted infrastructure. This allows you to take full advantage of most of the Exchange features that have made it the de facto standard for most companies today. This includes features like shared calendaring, resource mailboxes (for conference room booking, etc), shared contacts, a company directory (called the Global Address List), a powerful full-featured web access client and mobile access to email, contacts and calendaring from devices like Windows phones, iPhones, iPads, Android devices and Blackberries.
ISIS has migrated many customers from existing on-premises email to Exchange On-line and BPOS and can do this for you quickly and efficiently.
SharePoint is a web-based platform for internet portals, shared data, group communications and custom application solutions. Because of its potential for quickly solving business needs, it is being widely adopted. This on-line offering allows you to get SharePoint up and running quickly without any on-premises infrastructure. It integrates with the Microsoft Office suite so that your users can access, edit and store documents in the SharePoint folders (called libraries) as easily as they access local documents that are traditionally stored on your own server(s).
ISIS has SharePoint developers that can help you quickly create SharePoint sites that meet your needs without a ,long wait or high development costs. In many cases, we can have some usful sites created for you and useable within just a few hours.
Office Communicator is a desktop tool that users can use to do better communicate with fellow employees. This tool allows for simple features like instant messaging and presence notification. It also provides for more complex scenarios like desktop sharing and live two-way audio and video communications. (The next version of this software is called Microsoft Lync and will be available as part of the Office 365 suite.)
Live Meeting Online ServicesLive Meeting is Microsoft's web-based service for web conferencing. It is roughly similar to Cisco WebEx and allows you to host online meetings both between employees and with outside contacts. (The next version of this offering will be integrated with Microsoft Lync as referenced above.)
